Denise A. Gallagher has been a Las Vegan since 1978. She graduated from Clark High School with high honors and received her bachelor of arts degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a 3.83 grade point average.
Denise received her Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law in 1994 graduating in the top 15 percent of her class.
Denise passed the California bar examination in 1995 and became licensed to practice law that same year, she knew that she wanted to continue to make Las Vegas her home therefore she took and passed the Nevada bar examination in 1996.
Denise started her law career by working in the areas of personal injury and commercial/civil law at two Las Vegas law firms. In 1998, Denise added family law to her areas of practice. Denise went on to work at two prestigious Las Vegas family law firms, concentrating primarily on divorce, custody, guardianship and child support cases.
In 2006, following the birth of her daughter, Denise decided to start her own firm. Denise’s vast experience in family law gained her immense respect in the legal community, resulting in being one of only nine attorneys chosen by Clark County, Nevada to represent indigent parents in termination of parental rights proceedings as a conflict public defender.
Denise has handled thousands of cases in the areas of civil law, family law and commercial litigation through trial and appeal.
